Full-Scale Equipment Testing in a Controlled Environment

Enerion offers access to a purpose-built 20-metre-deep Test Well located within our facility in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, UK. The test well provides a safe and efficient environment for functional testing, commissioning, verification, and training activities, reducing the need for costly offshore testing and mobilisation.

Designed to accommodate a wide range of oilfield and intervention equipment, the test well allows customers to perform realistic operational testing under controlled conditions while benefiting from direct access to our workshop facilities, technical expertise, and support services.

168 mm heavy-duty steel casing installed from surface to full depth
Wellhead adapter positioned directly above the casing centreline
15K API 5-1/8″ flange interface for connection to Pressure Control Equipment (PCE)
Wellhead adapter stick-up of 670 mm from ground level to top flange
Reinforced test area with integrated steel beam structure
Foundation designed to accommodate Coiled Tubing tower base frames and other testing equipment
Safe and controlled environment for equipment verification and operator training

Designed for Reliable Testing
The wellhead adapter arrangement eliminates direct loading on the steel casing and helps prevent side forces or bending during testing operations. This provides a robust and secure interface for pressure control equipment while ensuring safe operation throughout the testing programme.

Combined with Enerion’s workshop, lifting facilities, engineering support, and experienced personnel, the Test Well provides a practical and cost-effective solution for equipment qualification, FAT activities, system integration testing, troubleshooting, and operator training.

The Test Well is located at Enerion UK’s facility in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, providing easy access to major transport hubs, suppliers, and North Sea operators.

On site we can also offer a portacabin and WiFi.
